Cash on delivery
You pay the courier when the box arrives. We call to confirm every order before it is packed — partly to check the address, partly because it halves refused deliveries. Card payment is coming.

Made-to-order timing
If a piece is not in stock the product page says so and gives a lead time. The clock starts when we confirm by phone, not when you place the order.

Returns — fourteen days
Unused and in its original packaging, for any reason. Tell us within fourteen days of delivery and we arrange collection. Return shipping is on us if the piece is faulty or not what you ordered; on you if you changed your mind.

What cannot be returned
Engraved pieces, unless they arrive faulty — we cannot resell a board with somebody else’s name on it. Custom commissions built to your dimensions are the same.

If something arrives damaged
Photograph it, including the box, and send the pictures the same day. We replace or refund without argument. Wood travels well; couriers are couriers.
A note on cracks
Fine checking along the end grain is normal.
Especially moving between a humid delta and a dry flat. It is not a fault and it will not spread if the piece is oiled. A crack that goes through the piece is a fault — send a photograph.
